{YEL!} classes take place after school, evenings, and weekends and during the summer we do half-day or full-day summer camps. Meaning…no 5am donut recipes.

with. 18,000 students signed up for {YEL!} programs in the 2021-2022 school year. We don’t know what all of those students will do when they are finished, but some current and former students have earned amazing accolades in a wide variety of areas.

Some examples:

{YEL!} has had two individual chess national champions who started in our chess program.

We have had numerous Minnesota State Fencing Champions who started in our fencing program.

We have had state champion robotics participants who took our robotics summer camps or classes. And some of those students have gone on to engineering and computer science studies in college.

We don’t expect every chess player in our program to become a national champion, but it’s a sign of the quality of programming we have and how our teachers inspire students to continue their studies even after high school.
