The two major components to quality enrichment are engaging instructors and dynamic curricula. Youth Enrichment League is always accepting applications and inquiries from qualified instructors. Instructors should have experience working with children and a passion for teaching. Teachers with certification and a degree of classroom experience are given special consideration. However, a teacher’s certificate is not required.

Schedule:
Teachers typically work at a different school each day in a slightly different time frame. For instance, a teacher may work on Mondays from 3:00-4:00pm at one school and on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00pm at a different school. When a teacher is at that Tuesday school, she or he typically works at that same school in that same time frame for 6-10 consecutive weeks (excluding school off days). You work with the same group of students each time you attend a school and you work through a progressive curriculum

Curriculum and Training:
We provide curriculum and training to each teacher on their specific curriculum. We provide teachers with all of the supplies they need to conduct a class.

Pay Scale:After school classes start at a pay scale of $20-30 per hour taught, based on experience. Training and orientation is paid at $10 per hour.

Application:
We are happy to speak with interested teaching candidates anytime. To apply, please call Chet Gunhus, YEL Director, at 952.361.6882 for more details or email your resume to info@youthenrichmentleague.com.
